There will be a special "Meet the Candidates" Running for the Board of Directors on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Clubhouse.
Currently Troy Yocum (Treasurer) and Shirley Brown (Secretary) are up for re-election for these two year terms.
This is a good opportunity to come up and meet those who are running for the Board and ask questions or state concerns. If anyone would like to run for the Board, please submit a brief bio to the office at 1490 Geneva Drive or email one to firstname.lastname@example.org telling a little bit about yourself and the qualifications you feel would make you a good Board Member. And be sure to attend this January 8, 2019 Meeting so you can introduce yourself there. Best of luck to all the candidates!
The next Board of Directors Meeting is
Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse. This is a Board Election Meeting where two positions are open. You may cast your vote there that evening or do so before hand as Ballots will be sent out ahead of time.
If you would like to run for the Board of Directors please submit a brief bio about yourself, stating your qualifications and why you want to be part of the Board. Candidates must be homeowners who live in Chesapeake and are current with their monthly assessments.
Assessments for 2019 are are $210.00 a month. Please pay on time and avoid a $25.00 fine. They are due on the 1st of the Month and Late on the 10th of the month. Visitor Parking Spaces are for GUESTS, not residents. When you purchased your town-home here you became aware that you have (1) one garage space and (1) one numbered outside parking space for your use. If you have more than (2) cars then you must park on the street. You may not take over a Visitor Parking Spot as if it is your own. You can and will get fined and/or towed. Please be considerate of your neighbors and park where you should. Thanks so very much!
Any vehicle parked in the Fire Lane will be towed immediately and without warning!
Please remember the Garages are to be only used for parking a vehicle, not a storage area. The Garage must be cleared and open to fit a vehicle inside at all times. The CCHA will not be held responsible for any items stolen or damaged if put out in the garage. Please keep your Garage Door closed when not using.
The City of Geneva has an ordinance that vehicles parked on the street longer than 24 hours at a time will be ticketed. Please move your cars to avoid parking tickets from the Geneva Police.

LIBRARY: Come check out the Chesapeake Commons HOA Library up at the Clubhouse. It is located in the lower level. Anytime the clubhouse is open (during regular business hours) feel free to stop in and grab a book or two to take home. No need to return the books as we get ongoing contributions. Currently we have a nice selection thanks to the generosity of Chesapeake Commons residents and a local charity, Hearts of Hope; donating many books.
